ART CAMP

Do you wish there was somewhere your child could go to get creative, make new friends, visit new places and learn something about art as well? Then sign them up for the ARTZUID ART CAMP, the most inspiring art camp in Amsterdam!

• For children aged between 5 and 12.
• May holiday, summer holiday and autumn holiday.
• A week of craft activities every day (9 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday).
• Exhibition at 3 pm on Friday for friends and family!

During the ARTZUID ART CAMP, your child will spend five days working like a real artist, thus developing their creative skills. Walks, games and visit to art collections all give the children masses of inspiration and ideas for creating their own art. They will get to work with different materials and techniques. Your child will learn something new every day about the different ways of making art and will be able to experiment with different shapes, outlines, colours and surfaces. In short: we are going to have a great week!

Daily schedule

• The day always starts with a circle talk and a piece of fruit to welcome everyone to the art camp and explain what we are going to do.
• Then we start working on the first assignment or an excursion.
• At 12:30 p.m. we have lunch together and then we go outside to play and/or to walk.
• When we have finished playing, we start the second assignment or an excursion.
• At 16:00 p.m. we clean up together and end the day with a drink and a biscuit.
• On Friday, we decorate the room and set it up for a spectacular final exhibition of the art camp.

Good to know about the art camp

• The ART CAMP takes place under the supervision of a teacher and a team of enthusiastic supervisors.
• The camp is for children aged 5 to 12 years old.
• The art camp is 5 days long – Monday to Friday – from 9:00 a.m. to 16:00 p.m..
• You can register your child for the Spring, May, Summer and Autumn holidays.
• A week in advance you will receive the program, so you can already see what theme assignments the children will be doing during ART CAMP.
• Children should bring their own lunch.
• ARTZUID will provide drinks and healthy snacks.
• Make sure your young art camper wears clothes that can get dirty.
• On Friday all of the artworks may be taken home. So bring a big bag or box.
• The final exhibition will start at 15:00 p.m. on Friday.
• Participation in ARTZUID ART CAMP costs € 385 for a whole week of crafts.
