The opening ARTZUID 2021 -> 15 May 2021

From 15 May to 19 September 2021, the 7th edition of ARTZUID will take place. The Amsterdam Sculpture Biennale – ARTZUID 2021 presents an experience exhibition with more than sixty works of art on the 2.5 km long route. The heart of the exhibition is Berlage’s monumental Plan Zuid with its leafy Apollolaan and Minervalaan. In this green environment, theatrical arrangements of modern and contemporary sculptures and interactive spatial installations can be seen. Each edition of ARTZUID includes a varied programme of guided tours, artist talks and educational materials for schools. During the exhibition, the sculptures can be viewed 24/7 free of charge. Roadmaps, catalogues and merchandise will be available from 15 May 2021 in the Information Pavilion at Minervalaan 1 or via the webshop.

ARTZUID presents work by internationally renowned artists and young talent. Diversity and inclusiveness are central to the selection of the sculptures, with the aim of creating an attractive and educational public exhibition. Thanks to the sculpture route, the avenues and squares in Amsterdam Zuid are turning into places of encounter. The curator and the theme will be announced in the spring of 2021.
