Studio ARTZUID – Exhibition Aad Berlin

On 15 September, the second exhibition opens at Studio ARTZUID at Churchill-laan 69A in Amsterdam. It is the turn for artist Aad Berlijn (1948), a painter ‘pur sang’. In the 1960s, he found his niche at Ateliers ’63 after attending the Rotterdam Academy of Fine Arts. In his surprisingly fresh paintings, he uses both figurative and abstract elements. His starting points are ‘alienation’ and ‘rapture’. Berlin is an artist that rarely goes public. But when you see his work, you can’t stop imagining and associating.
