Would you like to get involved in the organisation of the most inspiring and largest leading public sculpture exhibition in Amsterdam? Then take a look at our vacancies and volunteering opportunities! Stichting Art Zuid Foundation organises the Amsterdam Sculpture Biennale – ARTZUID in Amsterdam Zuid every two years. For this event, we exhibit 80 sculptures in public space for a period of 4 months. Various public activities are organised in connection with the free exhibition, including guided tours and an extensive educational programme. The event attracts approximately 350,000 visitors in each edition.

Volunteering at Stichting Art Zuid

Art Zuid Foundation is heavily dependent on the efforts of our team of volunteers, which now consists of over a hundred people! Our volunteers are real ambassadors and we are very grateful to them!

For ARTZUID 2021 we are once again looking for new volunteers – young and old – who want to join us in creating a beautiful sculpture exhibition and educational programme. You can volunteer for our information post, guidance in the children’s workshop or the ARTZUID ART CAMP. If you are available, you can always contact the volunteer coordinator yourself. Fill in the application form to become an ARTZUID volunteer immediately. Upon receipt, we will contact you for a personal introductory meeting in which you will be given an explanation and we can get to know each other and discuss which activities are best suited to you. The code of conduct of Vereniging Nederlande Organistaties Vrijwilligerswerk applies to all volunteers working with minors at Stichting Art Zuid. For all volunteers it is vrijwilligersbeleid.

Internships

Art Zuid Foundation is a recognised training company and has room for 8 trainees each year for the benefit of our educational programme. The work consists of supervising children between the ages of 5 and 12 in our children’s workshop under the supervision of a teacher. The apprenticeships last 5 days from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. and take place in the autumn, May and summer holidays.

We are looking for motivated students who are in the last two years of secondary school. Do you like being creative and working with children? Then contact us via communicatie@artzuid.nl with your CV and a short motivation. We will then invite you for an introductory interview.
